I met a real woman
A real deal woman
A know how to get on her knees
With hands together or hands up
A pray and praise saved woman.
A someone special
She’s precious woman
A know that God is Love,
and Love is Life woman.
A brighten your day
Spark up your night woman.
An educated, sophisticated
Adventurous, travel the world woman.
Once was a girl, has put away childish things,
now a woman, woman.
A when I see her, she all up in my mind.
Got me thinking about her for days woman.
A no nonsense, handle her business, don’t play woman.
But yet a playful woman.
A smile, laugh, joke, tickle and giggle,
not afraid to act silly woman.
A confident, comfortable in her own skin,
Stay stunting, walk is mean woman.
A you don’t have to tell her,
She know she a real woman, woman.
A down for her man, hold his hand,
never fake, a helpmate woman.
A stand by his side with pride woman.
Make sure you fly, by her side woman.
A fix your lunch, zip your fly, straighten your tie,
send you out the door to conquer the world woman.
A pack a picnic, walk in the park, play ball with her man woman.
A take me out to dinner sometimes on her dime woman.
A woman that makes it easy for you to
want to do for her woman.
An all night out with her man dance woman.
A stay in the house all night with her man,
candlelight, fragrance nice, massage right, lingerie out of sight,
body tight, romance woman.
An out with her girls, that’s a must.
It’s all good, she earned my trust woman.
A not easily influenced by others, but make her decisions woman.
A grown woman.
A know how to make a house a home woman.
A virtuous woman.
Won’t hurt you intentional woman.
Actions speak louder than words.
So, she’s the type of woman that,
you know.
Saying, that I care, is one thing.
But I’ll peel my flesh back out of place.
And bust through my chest plate.
To expose my heart
And show her I love her, woman.
A want to bring her home to your mother woman.
An ask her father for her hand woman.
A put a ring on her finger, that’ll bring the temperature down woman.
A wife woman.
A love her husband unconditional woman.
A mother to her children woman.
I met a real woman!

Don’t be like, be better than me.
My ceiling is your floor, stand taller than me.
The sky is not the limit, reach for the stars & beyond.
Actions speak louder than words, but your word is your bond.
Always remember, you only have 1 mother.
She loves you, always love her.
Treat women like you want your sister to be treated by others.
Look out for your brothers.
Love your wife as God so loved the world.
Be ready to die for that girl.
Look a man in his eyes.
Shake his hand firm, walk with pride.
Grow to be healthy, wealthy, and wise.
What you want, you can have.
Your great grandmother, we call her “Granny”, always says,
“The Lord will provide”.
Knowledge is power. Don’t take it for granted.
Trust is earned. Respect is demanded.
Only follow those that are going somewhere.
And when it’s time for you to lead, don’t move in fear!
Keep in mind that intoxicating situations, may lead to devastation.
Only God can judge you, but stay out of the courtroom,
unless you become a lawyer.
Be proud of your heritage, embrace your culture.
Travel the nations, see the world.
You reap what you sow, so sow in good ground, it comes back 10 fold.
Laugh, smile, play.
Give, forgive, pray.
Everyone’s path is different.
No one’s journey the same.
Along the way, you’ll make mistakes,
but take responsibility for your actions.
No one else is to blame.
This letter goes out to my unborn son,
Solomon James.

Tic-Tock
When your watch stops
And the tic of your clock doesn’t tock.
Time waits for no one.
When the flow of blood slows,
through your veins
to your feet and your brain.
And the beat of your heart cease
And they pronounce you deceased.
Time waits for no one.
You can’t buy it,
cheat to win it,
or steal it from a vault.
When you’re 65
And you look back on life.
You’ll ask yourself,
“Am I living,
or am I just waiting to die”.
And you’ll realize
Time waits for no one.
And the tic of your clock doesn’t tock.
Time waits for no one.
When the flow of blood slows,
through your veins
to your feet and your brain.
And the beat of your heart cease
And they pronounce you deceased.
