I was watching that Gatorade commercial
And got to thinking,
What’s in me?
Sure I got the usual
Bones, blood, and muscle
But I’m talking
what’s in my personal, individual, one of a kind make up.
What’s in me?
When I look closely,
I see…
A man with a plan or two, and a few in reserve
I see…
A 5’4”, 140, caramel complexion stallion filled with passion
A baron that don’t know the meaning of stop,
I only slow down, switch gears, and switch lanes ‘til I speed up again.
A brother with persistence in him, meaning there’s no limits to him.
I am filled with Christ,
Walk with his swagger, act like he act, call me a character
Filled with Leadership qualities, my supporters follow me
I do play basketball,
So yeah, Gatorade is in me too.
